13' Mirada 29DS Rain Gutter Clips
With our recent motorhome purchase, I wanted to install rain gutter clips to hellp/stop rain water marks on side of motorhome. However, I purchased a set of rain gutter clips but after further inspection I couldn't get them to install. Appears the rail doesn't have a screw on the end of the line to loosen to slip a gutter clip behind the rail. Please help.

If you post a pic of the "clip" and the end of the gutter it would be easier for someone to lend assistance.
Most folks I know just use a plastic clothes pin clipped on the end of the spout or install longer spouts. The only "clip" I have seen was at Tweetys and looked like an expensive clothes pin.
Or are you just trying to install spouts?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it would be easier if I had some pictures to look at, to go along with the info. Unfortunately, I can't do that right now. I was attempting to get some feedback as to how other Coachman owners have installed rain gutter clips. There is absolutely no room to push the gutter clips behind the rail. I was surprised you mentioned clothes pin. Would those stay on going down the road or are they just put on when parked? Thanks

Sometimes they come off. Most of the time they do not. I drove behind someone with clothespins on for hundreds of miles and never got one in my windshield. For the few cents they cost, is there a real concern? The clothespin issue is moot if you do not have spouts, is it not? So the same question slightly reworded: Are you trying to install clips or spouts?

Since there is no real rain gutter, I was attempting to install spouts by sliding them behind the awning rail. ???? What do other owners do when there is no rain gutter but you have that rain run off that looks bad.

The picture is clearer now. The spouts will not work behind an awning rail. They are for gutters. You could fabricate something out of aluminum that may work as a diverter. Not worth the effort. I use this:

The water drip line bothered me too Robby1. Particularly the ac drip line near the door if we were parked somewhere for a few weeks. If it's just the annoying black streaks, a product like what Ducky posted works amazingly easily to remove the streaks left behind a good washing. If you figure something out, let us know!

It looks like the brand name is RV Tech. I have never seen that before. What stores sell it?

I don't use that exact brand. The kind I use I grabbed from a super Walmart in the RV section. Works very well.

Do you know what the can says, like "streak remover, streak preventer". Do you just apply it like wax after you wash the rig?

Yep. Spray and rub off with paper towels I do. I'm sure there's a better way but it works. This is the stuff from Walmart.

Dollar General store and get 'Awesome cleaner' for a dollar or two, works great on black streaks

I'd like to know too. I will look for the streak remover but if there is a solution to the drip problem I'd like to know.
I bought two sets of drip gutters and neither would install properly on our Encounter. I still have them somewhere. If anyone has a good solution for gutters, please let the group know.
Meanwhile, like Duck, I'll order some streak remover. I just hate to have to drag out a 12 foot step ladder to reach the upper areas.
