2013 Concord 225LE Class C engine variations

I am looking at a 2013 Concord 225LE Class C unit base on the Chevrolet 4500 chassis. I am a bit confused because this has a GM 6.0 L gas engine, but NADA shows it with a Ford V10. What's the scoop here?

It has 44,000 miles and they are asking 39,999 for it. Worth it?

I will be looking at it in three days.

They come with either the Chevy 4500 V 6.0 or with a Ford E450 with a V10, not a bad price for a Concord, that’s about average miles for 5 year old unit, ask if he has the maintenance records on it. Make sure everything works including the generator, check the hours on that and any records of oil changes. Also check the tires, your probably going to have to replace them. So add in your cost, oil changes in both and new tires. If it checks out and is clean not a bad deal IMO.

Oh yes IMO, Coachmen builds a pretty good unit, the Concord is there upper end Class C. They stop making them in August this year and dropped the line. But I know people at Coachmen, and was told that they are going to come out with a new design for The Concord and are going to present the new one next year, Concord has only made small changes over the years, but next year they will have a new complete redesign. They realized they made a mistake dropping it. So decided to bring it back in there line with there new design, I’ll be interested in what there changes will be myself. I’m very happy with mine, and Coachmen has been great for Customer Service.

Well did you look at the Concord? What was your impression? Was it good shape or all beat upped. Let us know.

Also, use your nose.... We looked at several Coachmen or similar units that had been left outside and the odor of mold and mildew was unacceptable to me.

As to the price, you can look at www.rvtrader.com to look at prices on similar units.
