2014 Encounter propane leak

Had RV for one day and had to go back for multiple issues. While back at dealer I told them I smelled propane and asked them to check for leaks. They told me it was fine. I'm assuming they never opened the valve because as soon as I opened it this past weekend on a trip I could hear it and smell it leaking. I took the plastic cover off of the regulator and found that it is coming out of a vent on the regulator. Anyone know why that is? I've attached a picture pointing to where the propane is leaking from, so hopefully someone will be able to chime in. Waiting for response from dealer.

Similar situation on ours

simple answer......replace the regulator, sooner the better!

Would you believe that the dealer doesn't have ONE in stock? When they receive one, this will be my third trip back in about a month. Brand new unit.

The leak is from a ruptured diaphragm. The diaphragm has propane on one side and is vented to the atmosphere on the other side.
