2016 Coachmen Mirada 35BH

We purchased a new 2016 BH Mirada about 5 months back, Only done a couple of Trips, one being about 3000 miles. Have had a couple of issues but in general not to bad. Slide out got stuck in, Took it to dealership and they so called replied it before our long trip. First night out The slide out was stuck again, Managed to get it unstuck, and figured out the cause of the problem. The last screw on the outside of the Slide out was not flush. When the Slide out was put back in, it caught on the motor and forced it out is slot and jammed it between the slide out and a metal cover plate covering the seal. Resolved the screw situation and slide out working perfectly now.

Second issue was the bed above the cab started flashing when trying to take the bed down. At dealership currently for repair.

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced the following. When driving on a long trip, say 250 miles, I find that the acab aircon does not cool the drivers side sufficiently. especially with all the heat from the engine. I am considering doing a slight modification to replace the fans for the zircon with more powerful one, and/or try insulating the front piece by having thicker padding under the carpeting. I figure I could get better noise insulation (the engine is pretty noisy when changing back to go up hills) and maybe get better heat protection from the engine housing.

I am also considering having a blue ox installed to counter the handling especially when 18 wheelers come by.

any ideas or comments welcome

thanks
