2016 Mirada Slide Motor Location

Anyone know location of the slide motors on a 2016 Mirada? Just in case I need to use the manual drill backup. Thanks.

Slides can differ by model. Your profile gives no clue.

Bedroom is under a panel under the bed, I think you have to cut the carpet under the dinette to get to the living room one.

I was shown there was an overide on my Mirada. I was told to push it 6x then hold it on the 7th to reset during any malfunctions. Anyone else ever told this.??

If it's a shwinteck, yes you can do that to override the controller. If there is a motor failure there are two for each slide in the wall on either side of the slide. They can be disengaged and the slide manually pushed in.

Slide out motors

Lucky you have not yet had to get intimate with these motors. I have a 2016 Mirada 35BH. First trip out the right hand side slide out got stuck in, and would not extend. I tried calling the "free Roadside assistance" and was told since the slide out was in that they would not come out, I need to take it to an authorized dealer. I did that, and waited 3 days fro the repair. I checked it out and it worked. proceeded on a 3 week road trip. First night it worked great. At a stop over I noticed that the slide out did not retract all the way in. Pushed buttons, still did not. decided to wait till next stop as we were traveling in convoy with friends. At the camp site, the slide out would not extend. I did the over ride in the unit in the luggage compartment, and that did not work... The problem with the BH is that you cannot get your arm in to the motors located up at the top between the refrigerator and the Bunks. I managed to pull the rubber seal away and saw that the motor had dislodged out of its socket. I use a broom handle to get it back in.....and it worked and has been ever since. I did however find the problem, A crew on the side of the Slide was not screwed in correctly and to was catching on the Motor and dislodging it when the slide out was retracted. I removed the screw. When I retuned I did get the dealer to repay and replace the motor under warranty as I was not sure how much strain it took. and my luck it would fail as soon as it was out of warranty. touch wood...no more slide out issues.
