My wife and I just bought this. We are so excited. We have to take one last trip in our old class A and will pick up the Coacmen on July 22nd. Does anyone have anything to suggest on what to check other than the basic walk-thru on the pick-up date?

Welcome to the forum! We have the same model but 2017. We have been out to two different trips and like it very much. Ask the dealer to explain to you how to open the valves for the blank tank, as it is different than many others. Hope you enjoy it. Congratulations!

Welcome to the forums! Nice looking rig! Make sure to do a thorough PDI and that EVERYTHING works as it is supposed to. We have found over the years that sometimes video taping the walk through helps on the remembering how to do things later.

X2 on the video. I had DW take video of the whole walkthru we did on ours which took about 3+ hours with her phone. Have them for reference now.

Search the site for PDI checklists, there are quite a few on here. Make sure they turn everything on including water pumps etc. as stated above.

Congrats on the new rig, looks nice.

I never thought to ask them to demo our washer and dryer as we had the same model in our 5th wheel. The water to the washer was hooked up but not turned on! DH found a panel in our medicine cabinet where it could be accessed. Also the water to the residential refrigerator was not turned on, so if you have an ice maker or in door dispenser and plan to use those ask that they be turned on. Luckily we had no leaks but if we had the dealership would have been the better place for that to happen!

We have the 2017 311FS. If you have the washer/dryer make sure they show you how to operate. The electric water heater cannot be turned on at the same time as the washer/dryer. Have to use gas to heat the water to use both at same time. Ours did not have an auxiliary gray tank. We must be hooked to a sewer with the extra valve open for the washer to work. Otherwise it will backup right into the coach.

Congratulations, great looking rig. If you have leveling jacks, have them set them to level and go over entire system with you.

You should have a Splendide washer/dryer. We have one. I was told that because they can use as much as 18 gallons just in the washing cycle, and additional gallons for the rinse cycle, you should have the grey tank when using it regardless of the size of your tank size.

Could be but thought front loaders used less water. Will have to dig out the books!

Just read the manual and you will see that only on the washing cycle you can use 18 gallons of water. Class C don't have a large thank that can handle that amount of water. Actually, even on my FW, I only used the Splendide when in full hook up. I used to do two or three loads the same day. FYI. Wish you well
