319DS wind buffeting

This being my first purchased motorhome (had previously rented Seneca), I have really had a chance to notice the noise in the cab area while driving. It's wind buffeting like you hear in a car if you roll the window down slightly while driving on the highway.

Has anyone else been bothered enough to seek out a cure? Wondering what might be out there to alleviate this noise somewhat.

Thanks,

-g

I'm currently at the Coachmen rally in Mackinaw City and have spoken to a number of other class c motorhomes who have a similar issue. Some have suggested insulating the doghouse - both to dampen engine noise and to cut down on heat coming from it. I may look into this when I get home.

Thanks, Doc. Hope you are enjoying the rally. Those items you speak of were already done by the previous owner. He also insulated the generator bay, made a custom carpet cutout for the floor of the cab, and put carpet at the base of all outside storage to dampen the sound. I guess that's why I notice the wind buffeting so much, because all the other sound sources have been attenuated quite a bit.

That's why I was hoping someone might have addressed the wind buffeting issue and found a reliable fix, cause that's about the only noise issue I have with my MH.
