Air horns

After getting buzzed by every motorist on the road this last week I'm ready for some air horns.

Anyone have a recommendation? I'll need a compressor too since our coach does not have an air system.

Gary and I'm tired of cars pulling in so fast and tight in front of me that all I can see is their hood and part of their roof. Can't see the tail lights until they pull forward. Scary at highway speeds.

Tempting but I'm worried that on first contact my front end cap would explode into a million fiberglass fibers.

Thanks though.

Gary and if you go to the link you need to watch the test vid, (guy with a white truck).

I guess the train horns would be a better idea. Sure is tempting though. I thought about putting a bull bar on the front of my Ram and putting the Dale move on some of them. Just tag that rear quarter and spin them into the wall. In my youth drove a 18 wheeler for few years. People in 4 wheelers are stupid when they cut in front of a big rig and jump on the brakes. Just a lot of inconsiderate people on the hwy. Let us know what horn you use and give us a little feedback.

I installed a cheap set of air horns from Harbor Freight in my tv a Ford F350 diesel. The biggest problem was finding any space to mount the compressor. I wound up placing the compressor behind the front bumper as well as the horns themselves. I tapped into the existing horn wiring and connected the air horn relay there. This allows me to use the existing horn to operate both set of horns if I wish. The air horns were powered by an aux switch so I can turn that switch off if I do not want the air horns to sound. The set up works well but I cannot recommend the air horns that I installed, just not loud enough.
