So how do you get chlorinated water in your FW tank, if you don't use this external pump switch and a bucket?
City water is chlorinated and will stay good for several weeks. One of the reasons I don't drink it or use it to make coffee.

I have access at home to both city water (treated) and well water (untreated). We use the well water for drinking and cooking. We fill up a couple of gallon containers for drinking purposes. If it runs out we buy gallons of drinking water. I don't have a problem with drinking water out of a properly sanitized RV system, just don't like the plastic flavor it picks up.

Gotcha! Thanks Aaron. Any idea what the full capacity is of our FW tank?

47 or 49 gallons... I figure whole system is just over 55 gallons with the water heater, lines and tank filled.

Stinky Slinky Storage

My first modification, aside from removing that sewer "swing out contraption".

2 - 4 foot sections of 5" square PVC fence posts. Easily stores both 10' sections of sewer lines.

Nice job! I think I am going to go the 6" thin wall PVC route, mainly because I have a bunch of it all ready laying around. We are headed to the lake (state park) this weekend. Only planned mod is converting full beer bottles to empty beer bottles.

Waiting on some cooler weather to get here so we can REALLY start camping!

Thanks Aaron. I looked around Home Depot for round thin walled, but didn't see any. One of my favorite things is emptying out those damn full beer bottles. Have fun at the lake.

Well, I finally got around to trying to put some bleach water in my fresh water tank for sanitizing. Turns out that Pump Switch (inside the water station door) is exactly the same switch as the one inside the coach on the control panel. It does NOT pump water into the fresh water tank. I think this switch is just so you can control running water through the faucets (inside) without actually going inside and pressing the pump switch. I was hopeful that this was a well thought out "built-in" pump for pumping anti-freeze or bleach water into the fresh water tank.

As a result, I decided to just order this for now, to pull my 4 gallons of bleach water into the fresh water tank.

I should have read the reviews a little closer, this may just be junk. If it is, I think I'll go with this little guy.

GOOD ONE John! I still don't have my manuals, but called AGAIN today and apparently my dealer has a 2015 Concord 300 DS on the lot and he's going to rob the manuals out of it until mine arrive. It's been hard flying blind.

On another note... I went on to Forest River's website today and they don't list the Concord under their Class Cs any more. Just the Forester and Sunseeker.

I never really got a manual with mine. It was like a generic forest river manual. And a huge stack of individual component manual. We had an awesome tech walk us threw our concord about 5 hrs. We spent night at MHSRV dealer. I think coachmen is turning into a rv strength again. It is under forest River but coachmen does its own thing. That bus above is coachmen and it can compete with best of them I think and price doesn't knock ya down. We don't want class A. But it's nice to see coachmen puttin it out there

Also I think officially we are a B + even though we're 33 ft long. Think it's because we don't have bunk over cab

I thought the same thing, but on another forum, after I referred to it as a B+... said I didn't know the difference between a B and a C.

I got my Blue Ox baseplate today and saw that the price dropped on the ReadyBrute Elite on Amazon, so ordered it and the clevises today. Also finally got plates today. Look out... We're hittin' the road soon.

Yea Baby !!! Won't belong. You gonna do the install? Base plate kind of pain on jeep not bad. You have to pull front bumper off and cut the plastic rock shield little bit. Don't forget to use lock tight on your base plate bolts. Very important. There good vids on you tube

Yup, planning on doing everything myself. I'm a retired engineer, but worked a couple years in a shop as a machinist in my younger days. This should be a piece of cake. The wiring was my only red flag, but that Hopkins kit should be a piece of cake too. Thanks for all the help John.
