Cable problem in new Coachmen Freelander 21QB

We are on the road and our cable TV is too fuzzy to watch. We tried it a few days ago and thought maybe it was a bad cable, got new cable, still fuzzy. There's probably something I'm not doing right, any suggestions?

Did you turn off the tv antenna amplifier (using the little pushbutton switch) when using cable TV?

If your watching cable TV, turn OFF the antenna amplifier.
Go to your TV menu and be sure the TV is set to cable.
Do a channel scan--do not interrupt the scan.
When scan is complete, you should have a good, clear picture.

The antenna amplifier was the problem. Because it was on the plate where the cable plugged into, I thought it had to be turned to on for the cable to work, but such was not the case. Thanks for the help

That was an easy one...

I was helping someone last week with fuzzy TV issues. Turned out to be a cheap splitter in the wall, what a pain that was to get to.

Could be in a cabinet or like mine in a cubby hole under the television.

Should be near the tv someplace.

In the Coachmen Leprechaun 220QB it is on the left hand end of the cabinet above the entry door. I have to stand in the passenger's seat to reach it.

Typically it is mounted on the wall plate with the 12 volt port and the cable outlet. In my Concord it is an overhead cabinet next to the television. I would look in the vicinity of all of your televisions until you find it. Sometimes it is on a separate plate, but that is an exception.
