We are going to buy a 21RS Coachmen as soon as we get an agreeable deal between two local dealers. Question - should we buy a Ford or a Chev? The specs I can kind indicate that the Chev has a gross weight of 14,200 lbs and the Ford as 12,500 lbs. Should that make a difference? We want this unit for touring/camping, expecting to many month on the road.

It's really up to you. More people lean to the ford. I like the Chevy myself, more room up front while driving, but that's just me. In my leprechaun I was doing 80 without realizing drove like a truck.
