Coachmen 50 amp Mirada Select Shore Power

I have a 2018 Mirada Select 37TB an have a 30 amp house shore power. I don't run the second A/C in the unit while at home however; the 30 amp surge protector failed (its a used one that I had for 2 years) is it ok to have my 50 amp surge hooked up to my house or should I buy another 30 amp?

A 50AMP surge protector will protect a 30AMP circuit. I'm intèrested to know if you are indeed really getting 30 AMPs at your house? Why did the 30 AMP surge protector fail?

I have had much rain here the last few weeks. I assumed we had a surge that stopped power from getting past the 30 amp surge. Once i disconnected and plugged in my 50 amp surge..with adapter of course. All worked fin

The cable TV input is located in the Same compartment as the fresh water input and Black/grey water gate valve. I know of no solar panel input
