Coachmen Concord owners

Are any Concord owners interested in getting a group together to be able to ask specific tech questions, discuss mods and experiences you have had with your Concord? To be able to communicate with other Concord owners would be helpful to me, anyone else?

Many members start their own model owners threads, in their brand's sub-forum.

Hi Bob, you have a thread started now we can all chime in.

There are probably a dozen or so Concord owners total on the forum, some of us are a bit more active than others. If you post in the Coachmen Motorhome forum and put Concord in the title I am sure the others will chime in. We had a couple of long running threads about a year ago with mods and general information. Look for wahoonc, blackjeep22, SSlance and jjSpeedwagon. We have all done mod threads. BlackJeep went to the dark side and bought a Tiffin Phaeton bus, but he did some stuff on his Concord.

Hey Bob,

I was just plowing around on the forum and found something called "social goups". I will set us up one for Concords. More at 6...

Social Group

No clue how I found it or how it works (don't need no steenkin' directions )

But I have started a Social Group for Concord Owners. It is part of this forum.

If you go to the green bar at the top of the forums and click on Community you get a pull down menu. Select Social Groups and put Concord Owners in and voila.

I thank everyone for your help and answering my questions, i looked for over a week for this forum. I have joined yesterday. I'm pretty active on forums, i enjoy them. I have found them very useful. This will be my 5th unit but my first M/H . I have owned 4 FR units 2 tag alongs and 2 5ers. It was time for me to buy a new truck, i just didn't want to spend my money on a new truck that I only used to pull my trailers. Besides we are getting older and wanted to travel with a little more comfort, and easy set up and break down. If our PDI works out Monday we will be bringing it home. I have been on the phone all week with the (stealer) I mean Dealer all week, if he has been honest, i should have a successful one. Will let everyone know Tuesday, safe travels to all.

Just thought about something else to check on your walk through...

There are two power transfer solenoids; one is for the fireplace. Turn the fire place on, then turn on the electric element for the water heater (make sure it is full of water first!), the fire place should turn off. If not the fireplace is not plugged in properly and you will end up popping the circuit breaker if you try to use the fire place and anything else on the outlets around the kitchen counter area. I found mine by accident when I pulled the fireplace to do some wiring behind it for the under counter edge LED lights.

The other is for the front television; it should not power up if the ignition is on. You have to be connected to 120v power too, via the generator or shore power. FWIW I disconnected this one, my bride does watch some television when I am driving. I cannot see the TV from the driver's seat so to me it doesn't count as a distraction. My long range plans include a inverter to power the outside and front television as well as a plug for my printer.

I don't, but it is pretty straight forward. I will email Coachmen and see what they can do.

Did you get your new unit yet?

Posted too quick [emoji13]

The tanks are behind the axle, black on the left, one gray tank is just inboard of the black, the other is on the right side across from it on the right hand side.

Okay thanks, no I pick it up this Monday, i did talk to the service manager today, he checking the items that you and others posted to me, i also asked about any squeak in the cab area that was also mentioned. He said that they have mostly one delve. Guy. He said that he's one of the best and surely would have reported it. I still will do a test drive Monday also at highway speeds. SAYING all that we all know dealers, I'll let the forum know Monday night if it all passed. If you see mine and my wife's picture in front of it on the forum that will mean it all went well. Have a great weekend..[emoji41][emoji196]

I'll be happy to participate. We've had our 2015 Concord for almost 3 years and have had some experience with it, both good and bad.

Welcome to the forums! If you click on the the Community button on the green menu bar you will get a pull down menu, click on Social and search for Concord Owners and join the group. It is an open group so no added permissions needed. Just an FYI, apparently the Social groups section only works on the desktop version of the forum software, not the mobile, app or tapatalk version.
