Coachmen quality control

Since I purchased my leprechaun 260DS, thereís been 2 electrical plugs, under the dinette and the outside tv, that didnít have power. The dealer, Scottsdale RV, told me they fixed it. Unfortunately I didnít check til a few days later and found there still wasnít any power to those plugs.
Yesterday, Double T Mobile RV Repair came out to the campground to fix it. They traced sites and checked plugs for about 3 hrs with no luck. No charge since they didnít fix the problem. So they asked me to bring it into their shop the next morning.
After taking the fuse/breaker panel out, they found one wire that wasnít even plugged in and another that was but was jammed together to the point the connections were messed up.
Coachmen, you need to work on your quality. I enjoy my rig, but shouldnít have to spend my time on things like this.

You need to take your complaint to the manufacturer. This is an independent forum of Forest River OWNERS.

It's an owners forum that tries to help other owners.

Received a call from Ron Ross this morning. He offered to reimburse me for the $100 service call and they paid for the repairs as well.
Thanks for taking care of me!

No argument from me on that point. Maybe I should have given a longer explanation. But we can't solve warranty problems as pointed out in the posting about how to get help. That usually doesn't happen on these forums.

Glad he got in touch with Forest River. I had a good experience when I contacted them directly about a problem.
