Completed first long trip

New to forum & Coachmen class c, previously had Carriage Cameo 5ver, but downsized to Freelander 21QB last August. Two short trips 2014 then to storage. Started this season with a three day weekend & then a two week trip to Key west. Rv handled great, about 8.5mpg running 65mph with no major problems, so far satisfied with the unit.
Added second house battery & just ordered a set of Firestone air bags.
Looking forward to a weeklong trip to Pigeon Forge in July and a few long weekend trips as wife still works.

Just wanted to say hey & hope everyone has a great rv season.

Hope your trip went well! We just got back from a 350 mile trip. It was only our 2nd trip since buying the rig new in March. The first trip (with toad) we only got 7.5 MPG and we were shocked. This second trip (wth toad) we got 10 MPG! It apparently needed a "break-in" period. We also added a second battery and are considering air bags. Would like to know if it was worth it to you.
