Cross Country Air Suspension

Hi there,

We have a 2017 Cross Country 407FW. The airbags will only start to fill up once the leveling jacks are fully retracted. Is there a way to fill up the airbags first? I want to do this so the suspension will raise up and take the pressure off the jacks before I retract them. Otherwise when you hit the 'retract all' button, the coach will sometimes come down pretty hard depending on how far out the jacks are.

Thanks,

RC

Great question. The only way I have ever been able to retract is all together......hopefully someone will know how or have an answer

I called Lippert today and asked them and they said their electronic leveling system only knows 2 things: open valve to dump air when jacks down, and close valve once jacks are all the way up.

I may try calling Freightliner tomorrow to see if there is perhaps a manual valve somewhere to air up the bags before jacks up.
