Dead engine battery

I have 2018 Coachmen Leprechaun 260DS.
All last week, I was hooked up to 30 amp shore power.
When o packed up to leave, my engine battery was dead as can be, not a single light or beep when I turned the key on.
Shouldn’t the converter charge that battery too when I’m on shore power?

I don't think shore power charges chassis battery, unless the boost switch (if equipped) is on. What caused the chassis battery drain?

The only thing I know of that was on was a small LED brake controller

My wife had a habit of leaving the glove box open on her car and the "courtesy light" inside would drain the battery. She didn't drive the car much.

The LED on the brake controller won't drain a healthy battery in a short time. Might be an issue over several months. LED's draw less than some electric clocks.

Check all the switches that can operate accessories when the key is off.

If a diode is "shorted" in the alternator it too can deplete a battery. Worth checking and almost every auto parts store will check for free. Not a major task at all.

Then again, bad batteries can go dead all on their own even if they are relatively new.

So my engine battery doesn’t charge when I’m plugged in?

Nope, you chassis battery is not charged when plug to the post. However, you said it is a 2018 model, it should be under warranty, and should be taken to the dealer. At least that is what I would do.

I’ve got a list of dealer items to be dealt with I just hate to do it because I live in it.
I previously had a class a diesel rig so I’m finding there’s lotsa differences in the setups on them lol

If it’s a ford chassis, I’ve had a few friends that have a dead battery after about a week. The cause: dashboard light dimmer. At the full up position, there is a “click” of the wheel that opens a power relay that’s rarely used in MH’s. Leaving that really open drains the battery. Took one friend two batteries and three weeks before I found this info in the forum.
