I think those are wheels you can have added to the back of your RV to prevent the backend from dragging when you enter or exit something like a steep driveway to a flatter surface.
I am in-process of having them installed on my RV as the backend drags when I enter or exit my driveway, I have already bent those v-shaped brackets that came factory installed for dragging. They are to protect things like your bumper, stabilizers, plumbing, anything that could get damaged if the backend was to drag.

How do they prevent dragging? If the angle is too steep, the rear end is going to drag. A wheel just makes the gap smaller and drags sooner. Whatever the drag wheels are mounted to are gonna take a beating.

They are actually called Skid Wheels. They are solid metal wheels usually installed on trailers.

Given how high a Motorhome rides, I could never imagine needing these. In fact if you do need these, I would think you are doing it wrong

We have some sort of skid back there now, I think to protect the dump lines. I am not a real fan of skid wheels, I have seen some serious frame damage due to the point loading. However they may work in some cases.

I have not seen a need for them on my Concord yet, and have been in some tight areas.

I know this is in the MoHo section, but...

We had dragging issues with our Rockwood TT and our sloped driveway - I briefly considered "drag wheels" but dismissed the idea due to the stress it would cause on the frame. Our solution was a 3" lift between the axles and frame.

Probably not viable for a motorhome, but perhaps food for thought.

The longer the hang over behind your rear wheels the easier it is to drag. I've drug a jack a time or 2 but I can see it coming so slow is best. You'll be ok. I always try to pull out of any driveways at angle

Wiser to have a wheel roll than tear the rear bumper or stab jacks off. Frame takes the load regardless, just less damage with the wheels.

Don't remember, but I bought mine which are rated for something like 10,000 lbs and are a nylon/rubber wheel with zerk grease fitting for about $100 for the set of two. I have a Mirada without the sloped up rear end. It used to drag on just about every driveway.
