Firestone air-ride bags

Any out there have air leakage problems with their Firestone Air-Ride bags on the Ford E450 chassis?
I have a 32' which loses 3-4# in the right side and 7-8# on the left side daily?
Is this normal?

Have you found a fix for the leaking bags? It may be as simple a tightening the valve core in the Schrader valve or replacing the valve core.

Service replaced an air line. They still lose a little, which I understand it normal.

I have them on my Ram. They're usually either very low or empty after I let the truck sit for a while. I just pump them back up when I'm using the truck, and haven't really had an issue with them during use. I'm guessing this is normal.

Just checked the air bags on the Leprechaun yesterday. Held up pretty good in this cold weather. Only went from 70psi to 60psi in 3 months.

Wow, that's pretty high pressure. I've not liked the ride when running 40 psi; it's bouncing around pretty bad. You want to keep at least 10 psi in them always. I like the ride at 15 psi, and that pressure holds pretty good in my 2007 26' class C.

I have a 25' Class C Sunseeker with Firestone Ride Rite airbags. What psi should I put in them?

Camping World suggests on an average you keep them at 70.

Thanks. Found the installation instructions for the Firestone Ride Ride airbags. This is what they say:

"FOR BEST RIDE use only enough air pressure in the air helper springs to level the vehicle when viewed from the side (front to rear). This amount will vary depending on the load, location of load, condition of existing suspension and personal preference.

NOTE:
Too much air pressure in the air helper springs will result in a firmer ride, while too little air pressure will allow the air helper spring to bottom out over rough conditions. Too little air pressure will also not provide the improvement in handling that is possible.

TO PREVENT POSSIBLE DAMAGE MAINTAIN MINIMUM AIR PRESSURE IN THE AIR SPRINGS AT ALL TIMES. Listed below are minimum air pressure requirements.

CLASS"C"MOTORHOMES - 30p.s.i. VANS - 5p.s.i."

Going on a short trip (3-4 hr drive). Put 60 psi. Will see how it does. When I filled each bag they noticeably lifted the coach. Just about an inch or so, but I could tell they were filling.

I have a 33' Leprechaun with a long tail hangover. That's why I use higher pressure.

The air bags are there mainly for leveling purposes rather than ride quality.

I wonder if the extra weight behind the rear axle is compensated for by heavier or more rear leaf springs? Looks like the Leprechauns can come with anywhere from 22' to 32' on the same chassis.
