handicap access to 2002 coachmen

i need some helpful information concerning handicap installation or homemade acccess to my coachman catalina sports class c. my wife is now confined to a wheel chair and I would like to get /build and access into my rv. I went to a local rv sales here and inquired . they "researched" and came up with a sit-down swing in that would cost nearly 5k to purchase and install. I can build wood ramp myself for that. any suggestions?

I have not seen anything other than the lifts they have for vans, I have seen where they have installed double doors and used a van lift, but looked expensive, if I see anything else in my searches I will post here, best of luck, Hammer

Uh, no offense I hope -- but I looked into a ramp for my dog; found a ramp that supports 400lbs and telescopes to fit various spaces. Maybe something down that route may work for you and would be much cheaper. This ramp was $150.
