Are you saying that the water heater only operates with propane? The only reason I can think on the 31FS is that if it has a washes/dryer it need the electric water heater off in order for it to work.

The 11 had washer 19 didn’t. It just must be the option I see on Rv trader they still come with both. Not sure why you would not want the electric and propane . I no when I fill the propane I pay a road tax on it. 9.95 for my 20 lbs grill tank and some where around 30 for Rv

RE: Water Heater

The 2019 311FS has a 6 gallon DSI water heater with both gas and electric switches so you can turn both on. If this answers the question.

I would opt for the gas/electric one.

We have 311fs and has both electric an gas hot water . But I think LP gas tank is to small when running Furnace, think about adding a extend a stay gas supply.

Hey Carl, we stayed 2 weeks in our 311fs and ran furnace at night and turned on gas water heater during the day just long enough to take our showers. It cost us about $18 to fill the propane back up at a Love's TS. I was surprised at how little we used.

nvs4602, I don't know how you did it with $18 of LP, specially if you turned on both furnaces. Good for you.
