No gutters on my RV

I have no gutters on my 2016 Coachmen Leprechaun Class C. I would like to install some, has anyone done this on this type of unit, if so can you tell me about the material and how it was attached.

thanks

Hank

Being from way far away up here in the North, I kinda always thought people in Texas don’t get rain, so why would you need gutters?

Sorry I couldn’t help you.

You are right we are not getting a lot of rain, but when it does it is the hardest, heavest, biggest drops and longest lasting rain of any place in the country. Just had to get that in.

If you do add them, be sure to take into account where the water will flow off. I have a gutter right over my cargo door so when I am setting up in the rain I get a steady stream of water right on me.

I really do not think a 1/2 " gutter is going to help with rain, also your unit roof is about a 1/4" down from the edge, they use that edge for the water to run down on the roof. On a TT or a 5er the edge dives into the gutter, so even if you screwed it at the edge you really are not going to do much. You would have to seal it somehow, which I don't think would be to pretty but that is just my opinion. I really don't think I would want to put 30 or so screw holes in the side of my unit, for something I don't think will help because of the design...Good Luck...
