beach trip

had a great time, everything worked, the battery indicator didn't seem to be right, or the batteries were not up to par, but the fridge and the heater kept right on working, I will probably put a decent battery indicator in to see what is really going on!! we didn't want to come back to reality, but missed the grandkids,

As for your cupholder, doesn't that have to be mounted on orange sculptured shag carpet,

I was looking for some carpet like that to replace mine, for just that look,,,,,
but at first they had a old website that I went to that had a a cup holder and a cooler made out of wood that would have been just what I was looking for, but it is no longer made by whom ever made it, looks like I am going to have to make one and cover it myself, with some matching material like the dash, I want something that matches what we have, or like the DW says, coordinates with

OK, got this now, cheesy I know, but now I have to make something for it to sit on, and cover it with something that matches one of the colors, either the dash or carpet

Time to get ready for our last winter excursion before we head out for another summer adventure. Tote tank carrier is in fabrication (Ill post pics when its done) and added a water proof quick disconnect for the electric water heater element so it's easy to drain. Got the quickie tank flush ready to install. Next its time to exercise the genny so I crank up the AC and NO COOLING. Uh oh.! Houston, we got a leaker. Only 7amp power draw on the compressor. Oh yes, its' 4 months out of warranty.

Duckogram, How old is your unit? I believe the Brisk Air II has a 2 year parts and labor warranty.

Ain't that the way of it. Sorry to read this Ducky. Any chance you have any kind of extended warranty? I was considering inquiring about the second year warranty offered by Forest River, or so I heard of such here.

RGMiller : Checking on the warranty. Will find out Monday. I cant get the unit on the roof so I called a Mobile repair guy I know out of Ft Myers. He came out at 8:00pm to check it out on his way home from a job in the area. He is a cert Dometic repair tech and a Dometic dealer so we will see.

JJD : The Forest River extended warranty is for towable products only. I had it on my Creek and it paid for itself.
