Outside TV died last night....

I was watching my outside TV last night when it suddenly shut off. It is a Magnavox. The TV came stock on my 2013 Coachmen Mirada 35DL.

I did check the plug that the TV was plugged into, and it had power. I also reseated the plug. I can't really get to the power plug on the tv, so maybe it is just loose. I have to take it into the dealer on Thursday to get the water pump replaced and will have the dealer check it out.

Does anyone know what the warranty policy is on TV's? My assumption is that the replacement of the TV is something that the dealer will have to take care of since it died during the first year of ownership. Is that correct?

Coachmen will cover their items (chasis). Your tv comes under the magnavox warranty. Your dealer can handle that. They will diagnose the problem, contact magnavox and they will authorize the repair. Generally they will ship a refurbed unit for a replacement. That will not extend your warranty. If you purchased an Extended Warranty with an Electronics package that will take over after the manufacturers warranty is over.

You are correct: Dealer removed the defective one and Coachmen is sending a replacement. That was a load off my mind as I really did not want to have to dismount this thing. Thanks!!
