Posted on iRV2 about flat springs

If interested here is a link.

Sagging springs? Don't know but this is what Ford said - iRV2 Forums

I did have the coach weighed today. If you want to get a quick read on your weight and distribution, visit a Speedway truck stop. You can drive right on to the scale, use a stick or broom handle to push the send button and wait for them to ask if you are ready. They tell you when its okay to pull off. Park and go in to get your front, rear, and total coach weight.

Best part: only costs $10 bucks.

Then you should disconnect and weigh the truck alone.
That way you will get a valid pin or tongue weight.

A "re-weigh" within 24 hours is a buck at the CAT scales. I am sure there is a similar deal at raceway.

It's a motorhome herk. Nothing to disconnect. I did not weight it with the Jeep attached. Did you mean weigh the Jeep too? It is a long scale with 4 sections, you could probably position the rig so the jeep was on a separate section and get your drag along car weighed too. Good idea.

Mea Culpa.

I was answering via the subscription email and it does not tell me the forum the post came from. I thought your post was in regards to a trailer.

As I understand motor homes the combined weight and the toad weight are the only things you need to know.
