Protecting the Grandkids

Taking the six month old and 2-1/2 year old grandsons to Carpenteria State Beach this coming weekend. I was concerned about them crawling around the RV and falling into the stairwell, so I did this. $40 for the wood and stain and soft bumpers on the edge.

I also get about 6 sq. ft. of floor space for when we RV with our 6 friends and have dinner inside when its raining. Enough space for one more camping chair.

Seems like alot of people are doing something like this. Maybe the manufacture's would make something like this for when you order your RV. Could be a safety item.

The trophy wife, of 32 years said "why such a big finger hole?" Its heavy and you need two fingers to lift it up. I did think about it......

3/4" and you can jump on it. It's solid.
