Pursuit Slideout Stall

Hey any you Pursuit owners experience a in wall slide out stall when retracting. In other words the slide out stops about a foot or so once you start bringing it in. This is the slide out with the schwintec motors on the side walls.

It may need to be resynchronized. Go to U-Tube and search "Schwintek in-wall slide-out system - retiming".

Yes. Search my posts in this section. It could be something as simple as an adjustment on the controller (not likely) or it could be a prelude to a catastrophic failure. Bottom line is that something(s) is causing the motor to “amp out”. That is what causes the premature shutdown. Also, you might want to review your electrical status. Battery and shore power.

Additional info: Can you retract after a restart? or Can you retract with help pushing/pulling?

I appreciate your response. I’ve got an appointment with a local RV repair facility to check it out. The control module indicates 1 of 2 motors is bad or there is a short in the circuit.

I'm posting this FYI, my local RV repair and service facility, Iron Horse RV-San Antonio, Tx, checked out my slide out stall problem and said the tracks were dirty and seals dry and needed lubrication. They cleaned and lubed both of my slide outs and ran them in and out several times. I wasn't able to actually talk to the tech as I picked up my coach late in the afternoon. I got it home and ran it in and out still working. I'm not sure I trust this Schwintec system but there you go. I have seen the You Tube video by Schwintec on how to lube the motors only. There may be more to preventive maintenance on these slideouts than what Schwintec indicates.

Sounds like you got a great tech! The Schwintec slides are okay, as long as they are installed correctly and maintained. They don't do well when they are out of tolerance.
