Shoddy workmanship

To the folks that assemble these machines: Why can't you take the time to tighten the water fittings? Just had to get under the bathroom cabinet to tighten a fitting on the back of the water heater..A few weeks ago I had to tighten the waterless p trap under the shower..Of course both of these let water get out on the floor. It doesn't take that much energy to do it right. If you don't want to do it right May be you should seek employment where someone doesn't have to pay a large sum for the product and then finish your work for you.! Where is quality control? There are other things lacking in this rig that shows non caring workers.I am not a fan of water leaks, which my slides do when it rains just right.

They do tend to work loose from vibration, a small hunk of Gorilla tape applied correctly works wonders.

These fittings are akin to lug nuts, you need to retighten after first 200 miles.

The fitting on the high pressure side in the shower leaked the 1st time we took ours out. Then the fitting on the toilet in the half bath leaked on another outing. Then I had two leaks at the shower drain. All because of improper installation. Not impressed with the "workmanship".

Aquaman. I can't believe that we are supposed to Chase down all connections and tighten them on a regular schedule.

I'm just sayin' they can work loose right at first. It's not like you have to check on a regular basis.

But you paid for that up front.....

Me, I can wait. I'm in no hurry and if I am, Amazon isn't the place I shop.

Back on the subject of plumbing, my opinion is out on point to point PEX with compression clamps in an RV. It's fine in a residential setting with no movement but I'm not convinced it's the cat's meow in an RV other than it's cheap and easy to install.

Wouldn't be so bad if they were easily accessible.

Fortunately as you can see the assembler thoughtfully left a screw for me between the drain and the wall
