So how is this for a campsite?

Indigo Bluffs near Empire Michigan which is just 15 minutes from the Sleeping Bear Dunes of Michigan.

Is this a seasonal spot? I sure could go for a spot like that.

Link for a view of the parkLink won't work) In Google Maps type in Indigo Bluffs Empire MI and you should see it. zoom in and look slightly up and left for the sites. Only class A's are permitted.

We stayed on number 5 which is at the one o'clock position off the pond.

Not for me too nice, I am not one for roughing it in that since, but I gotta go with some dirt and a fire ring.

Well you had two choices. On the upper level patio you can see in the pic an elevated fire ring with a screen cover.

On a smaller patio a short walk down some stone stairs was a gas campfire in a rock circle. It's down by the pond, it was all ours and the gas tank is under a fake rock.

It was very nice all in all and the campground managers were very nice folks, and always willing to help with any question or problem, (Jim and Janice).

For $40 a night, I could stay in a swanky Motel Six with a Waffle House within walking distance.

Seriously though, that does look a real nice place.

i would call that a "resort site", instead of a campsite.

Hey Po-Boy how is LSU doing this year? Will it be us against you? (Ohio State Buckeyes)

At the risk of being whacked up side my cyber head,

My first thought was;

RV parked at a Memorial Gardens?

Seriously, at first glance it appeared (to me) to be a beautifully landscaped cemetery.

<note to self; make appointment with eye doc

EDIT: NOPE no appointment with eye doc.

Hid the first pic and showed the second pic to DH and asked him to tell me his immediate thought on what it is.

CEMETARY!

(building being the caretaker's cottage)

Offense is incredible...Defense is a work in progress (not BCS strength)...I see either Alabama or Texas A&M winning SEC & playing for a spot in the big show

Until I retired this last July, I worked for Ohio State.

The Bucks are undefeated but some might argue they haven't been tested by our schedule.

Last night we suffered through a nail biter in IL. The Wildcats, a good team, gave the Bucks a run for their money but we won, finally. Interesting game if you get a chance to watch it. Some of the most unusual plays and odd events I have ever seen all in a single football game. Final was Bucks 40; Wildcats 30.

Looked like LCU was trailing when I saw the mid game score. I didn't see the final on their game.

Agree, I think it will be Alabama and someone; and Alabama will be hard for anyone to beat.
