SportsCoach 385DS low water pressure...
So I have had this issue since new... low water pressure throughout the coach. This is either through the pump or city water inlet.
Even if I am showing 60 psi on my pressure regulator, the shower barely sprays. This is also causing issue (I believe) with the Girard on demand hot water. Since there is not adequate pressure flowing through the hot water heater, the heater does not produce adequate hot water.
I don't know where to begin to look.. I am still under warranty, and I have an appointment schedule for Aug 3rd, problem is the dealer (not the dealer I purchased from, but the only dealer around me) is 5 hours away.
If I can fix this with perhaps a valve that is in the wrong position or a kinked hose... it would eliminate the need to for the 5 hr trip!
Anyone have any ideas?
Keith M.

Does your MH have a water filter? If it's clogged it would cause low pressure whether on city water or running the pump.

Sounds like screens are plugged with debris.
Pull all screens on taps and clean.
How old is water filter? Micron rating?

sorry.. should have included that information.
I pulled the water filter out of the housing thinking that may be the culprit.... no joy.
I pulled the shower apart thinking there may be a water reducer in the hose or something... again... no joy.
Other thoughts?

Where are these? The pump is hard to get to... I think I have to pull the panel that all of the plumbing terminates. Hopefully there is sufficient slact to allow the panel to come out a bit to get to the water pump... or at least check for kinks in supply hoses.
Keep the suggestions coming!

Inlet check valve is right where you connect your city water hose.
Have u tried water pressure without regulator?

Yes.. I have removed the pressure reg to see if that was causing issue.
I'll look for that check valve tonight. (It looks like I have to pull the panel where all the plumbing terminates... hopefully there is slack in the plumbing supply lines.)
Would that check valve cause issue with both the city water and the pump water pressure?

I replaced the shower head with a "high pressure" one and that has made a HUGE difference.
So much so that I am removing this item from the list.
The shower is acceptable now.

Which one did you get? My coach does EXACTLY the same thing, and has since it was brand new.

I have the same issue with my Berkshire. I did check all the screens and only have good results with the filter removed. I am looking for a outside filter that will be in the 5/8 hose before it goes into the 1/2 water lines. I'm not sure it will correct but I'm running without a filter for now. My thought is with the small lines the filter is to restrictive. I also use a oxegenator or something like that. Garrard gave it to me when trying to figure why I got scalded every time I took a shower. The Garrard works great now.
I would like feedback on the waterline thing. Does that make sense?

Better water pressure and replaced it with the new model. They put a control in to adjust the burner.

FYI In my FR product (Coachmen Encounter) they mounted the water pump on the metal wall of the wet bay, up behind the panel. Also difficult to get to; like yours. Made a he** of a racket when working.
I relocated it to the floor of the wet bay in an effort to make it quieter as requested by the DW. I had a lot of help here regarding how to make it run quiet, and it does now, but the unexpected benefit was that it is now very easy to access for winterizing or to trouble shoot when necessary.
Just a thought.
Oh, and FR used the least expensive pump available I think. I upgraded to a premium version and it was well worth the money. I get more volume and pressure from my fresh water tank and pump system than I do in nearly every shore water line hook up. I had excellent water pressure at really only one campground, Indigo Bluffs in upper MI (near Empire MI). Their water was excellent and the pressure was outstanding (at least as good as I've had using a waterline pressure limiting device).
