Test drive Prism 24G and Smart Passion together

Hello everyone,
today I did test drive of our Prism 24G and Smart Passion.
All towing equipment Blue od purchased from Hitch Source (everything went
very well with purchase and shipping).
Installaction and set up did by myself, baseplate, wiring Smart ( rear lights,
shut off switch, independent lighter plug for Patriot braking system powered from coach ) because Smart power need to be off at flat towing.
Test went very well ( only 50 miles during the Friday rush hours, 25 forward and
25 back ).
Only thing what I'm not satisfied 100% is bungee cord.
My is long 27" and is strong and that thing concerns me how tires will behave
in sharp turn with lower speed.
All suggestion to clear that will be greatly appreciated .....:-)
Thank you

I tow a '11 Pure with the Roadmaster base plate and Falcon 2 towbar. Since the Pure is under 1500 lbs a supplemental braking system is not required nor is it needed. The turning issue is due to the caster of the little front wheels. I tried the bungee but it causes tire drag as it applies force against the turn. So now I don't use one. (note: steering wheel on pure does not have bottom spoke.) What I did to ensure center is put a piece of bright orange swimming pool noodle ($1) over the Top Center of the wheel. Then after a turn I can check it quickly with the rear camera. I only had the oscillation or hunting experience once in 10,000 miles. I really didn't need to look as I felt it. To correct, full stop then move forward slowly. The turn was on a narrow back road in poor condition with low trees to circumnavigate causing a 120* turn to return to the right lane.

Thank you Duckogram,
our Smart is 1800 Lbs and some states limit w/o brake
system is 0 Lb ( that's why I get Patriot ).
Right now I'm testing different sizes of
bungee cords and do not work perfect,
later I'll try with mark on the top of steering wheel
and follow on rear view camera (on first
test on the Hwy 101 south/north work
ok, but in the storage area on sharp turn
wide 180 curve ok, on the 90 degrees turns ok,
but on the tight 180 turn have tire slide, that's
what concerns me ....
One more time THANK you
