Nope, not what I was referring to, I was referring to moving the tongue on the board one way or the other, either closer to the scale or farther away will have a definite effect on what the scale reads. Same effect on the vehicle on the scale is it not? The center of gravity of the vehicle if moved farther from the scale will influence the weight won't it? Also, if you just barely get the front wheels on the scales and take a reading and then drive forward until the rear wheels are just off the scales, will the weight reading not increase?

The CG will not change unless something INSIDE the camper moves (moving the tongue on the board).

The weight on wheels will be whatever it is when the MH is initially loaded.
That weight will not change no mater where you park it.

I agree, the cg will not change in the vehicle, but it is with respect to the scale if the front wheels are just barely on the scales, the vehicle cg is not on the scale whereas if the rear wheels are just off the scales the cg will be on the scales. Going back to the tongue on the scale, if the spacing of the scale and the block is 4', tongue in the middle, scale reads 400#, move the tongue over 1' farther away from the scale and the scale will read the same? Don't think so.

I agree the wt of the vehicle does not change.

I guess. Do you agree that when driving onto the scales, the scale reading continues to increase the farther you drive onto the scales until it maxs out when the rear wheels are on the scales? Why is this phenomenon true? Anyhow, I'm outa here. See ya in Goshen.

No, the scale is "read" when the operator pushes the button. The weight is what it is and it does not change.

Why is this phenomenon true?

The assumption here is that I agree with the first assumption.

All I can say is when we weighted our truck with the racecar trailer on a feedstore scale, we could see the scale from the truck. When we got the front wheels on the scale it registered (Dial scale, not digital) and as we slowly progressed forward the wt increased until we got the rear wheels on the scales, we stopped read the scale and pulled slowly forward and the scale started increasing until we got the trailer wheels on the pad.

Hydraulic pressure had to stabilize or something.
The weight on your wheels is not a variable.

Don't know, don't remember the weights of anything but the whole rig was 11,300#. We'll have to finish this discussion in Goshen.
