Tow question / concord

Ok have a 2016 Concord, it has a 5000 pound hitch. So here the question the hitch is 5000 pounds but what is the the rolling weight. I want to tow a car behind the camper so it wont be sitting on the hitch what would be the weight for this unit to tow?

I am not clear on your question, but if you use a tow dolly it puts 100-200 pounds on tongue weight, if you flat tow it puts 100 pounds or less. Your vehicle weight is important when it comes to GCWR.

Your hitch has a towing capacity of 5000 lbs. As stated, tongue weight will be minimal either towing with q dolly or flat towing.

Rescue Duct, do you have the E450 chassis? They are rated to 7500# of towing, I have not looked at the hitch to see what it is rated at. If the hitch says 5,000# then that may be what you can tow. We plan on dragging my bride's Ford Fusion or her F150, both are under the 5k# range, so I haven't worried too much about it... yet.
