I don't understand the "group buy pricing" concept. Are these imported? If they are simple hardware with computer based programming why the gimmick style pricing?

WDW,

When I purchased my tuner the more people that purchased the lower the price was. We had enough people in that group to get the cheapest price going. Being you are from WNY you will know the area some. This weekend from Lancaster to Evangola State Park and back without the dolly, the coach would stay in 4th and 5th gear most of the time. Before the tuner it would be staying in 3rd and 4th gear. Big difference in the drive. This week will be from Lancaster to the villages at Turning stone for a trade show. Looking forward to a smoother drive out and back.

That is a dangerous assumption. The 2016's that are built on 2015 chassis have the 5 spd. The 5 star will not recognize the PCM code on the 2016 chassis.

Wow your right. Little difference between a 5 speed tranny ending in 2015 and a 6 speed tranny starting in 2016. Great Scott !!!!

I wish I would've gotten my 5star tuner when I first bought my V-10 X! The way they change the transmission shift strategy is unbelievable! And I really wish I had it when we took our trip to Disney. They are a good tuning company that is not just about HP but about the entire powertrain.

I bought one at last years FMCA Family reunion in Madison. I am very happy with the new shifting pattern on my 2015 Encounter 37LS. The coach stays in 5th gear longer and will down shift and stay in 4th gear climbing most moderate grades if I use the throttle manually. With cruise control on it will still shift down to 3rd occasionally when 4th would have been sufficient. Over all I would say I has been a great improvement.

Just arrived with mine at Knoebels Lake Glory campground in central PA. Was a joy to drive up & down what pass for mountains in this part of the country.
