Buy a couple of No Pest Strips and place them about 10 feet apart in the trailer. Keep your inside cabinet and closet doors open, but keep any vents to the outside closed. The pest strips will kill ALL insects that try to make a home out of your trailer. The active ingredient also tends to repel rodents. My outdoor storage area backed close to a field that had some trees out about 30 feet. I used to get Huntsman spiders which were about 3" across and ran like the wind. I also used to get "palmetto bugs" (roaches) and wood scorpions (poisonous), black widows, brown widows and the ants and wasps that love the vents. Two no pest strips.... NO BUGS!!! NO RODENTS!!! Nothing! I spray nothing inside the trailer. I will treat the underside and ground with bifenthrin spray. Residual action lasts up to a year.

Wow sure glad I do not live there . sounds like a bug infested area. Most we have here in British Columbia is mosquitos. In the winter/ storage if one does not keep their unit crumb free one could get some mice. However that is usually not a problem if you do not park in Orchards or vin yards.
I neglected to say take out the house batteries and keep them on a battery minder over the storage period.

I have been storing my RV outside in south Florida for 10 years. I turn off the batteries and crack open a couple of side windows and leave my fantastic vent open. Drain the water only since I like to have fresh water when I start out again. If I weren't between two other coaches, I would cover the tires to prevent UV degradation.

Hey...this is Florida in the winter...right? No bugs, relatively dry and seldom temperatures over 85. I think you guys are overdoing it.

People drive cars here and sometimes leave them unattended for weeks or months.

Living and storing it in Fl I assume you will be able to check on it occasionally? As mentioned, once a month open it up, start it up, run the generator for an hour under load and If possible drive it!

Also as mentioned keep some water in the toilet ! Storing a RV in Florida during the winter is the best time with temps between 32 and 80 degrees ! If you have vent covers
I would, and did, keep a vent or two open to allow air circulation.

As far as all the insects, animals, marine life living in others stored rigs I have no idea....LOL !

Don't stress it......it will be fine until you get it moved !

If its parked on cement or asphalt, keep something under the tires. Even Florida winter heat will cook those things pretty good and severely shorten their life. I use these:
