Water pump replacement How ?

Is it possible to replace the water pump on 2008 Coachmen Freelander (Freedom Express) without removing the shower and cutting through the bathroom floor?

I want to do something about the excessive noise of the pump. The OE pump is screwed down hard. This makes the floor a sounding board so all vibration gets amplified.

I can see no way to access the screws used to install the pump as it appears the pump was installed before the floor of the bath was installed.

Local dealer - Camping World, will not stand behind their advertised "$39 Install" for a water pump.

While at it I want to R&R the "Water box" so I can remove the rust. I can only paint over the rust so many times.

It appears I need to disconnect something from backside but of course can not access the backside because the water pump is in the way.

I write a blog on RV tire application and safety.
Also give seminars on tires at RV events across the US. 40 years experience as tire design & quality engineer for major tire mfg. Freelander 23QB on Chevy chassis is my RV

I can not help but did want to offer.... "Wow and I thought my pump was hard to get at."

If you can't get the pump out, can you get to the lines and just disconnect it. Then install a new pump on an isolation board wherever you can fit it in and extend your water lines to the new pump. Just leave the old one in place. You could even cut the water lines and splice new, longer line to the cut ends.

I imagine you already thought about this.

Tireman9, just curious if you have been able to put the new water pump in. Our 2013 Freelander QB28 has the fresh water tank under the bed. The bed top hinges for access to the FW tank, WP, and low point drains. Not sure this will help just an option to consider if you have access.
