Water Volume From Kitchen Faucet

We have a 2015 Coachmen Mirada 35LS and since delivery have never had a good volume of water from our kitchen faucet. The other faucets seem ok - shower weak but acceptable. Water pressure near 60 psi. Techs can never find anything wrong - aerator clean & no kinks in hoses. Anyone else experience this?

We had a similar problem with our kitchen faucet. Found a check valve like device in the flex line just after the control valve to hose. Removed it and had move flow and pressure.

Have the same problem in a 35 BH - 2016. Planning on new faucet next spring.

ResQfrog - couldn't find anything on flex line except the weight. I loosened that just in case it was choking off some water flow but didn't seem to help. May have to try new faucet also as gooseneck is really hard to swivel.

The check valve or restrictor was at one end of that flexible hose. Had to remove the hose to find it. It looked like a plastic bullet. Can't remember which end of the flexible hose it was at. Sorry.

Could your problem be something as simple as a clogged aerator in the faucet? The aerator screws in to the end of the faucet, and has a metal screen (or screens) and usually some plastic components. Twist it off and give it a look.

Had a similar problem. Loosened a set screw where flex hose attaches to faucet assembly to take off. Found plastic material like Teflon tape or shrink wrap in this tight passage. Removed debris and all was good.
After thought, check all connections for water as they can jiggle loose over time and road vibration.

We had same problem. The water line under sink had a small bit of plywood in line.
BTW. The trailer was brand new.

Check the strainers in the faucet head. Had same problem and for some reason there were 7 strainers in the head. One would do the job.

Check the strainer in the city water hook up. If not there, I would replace the faucet, we did in our 2015 Encounter, made a difference.

Aerator clean. Removed the sprayer and water came out with much greater force and volume. Couldn't take sprayer head apart enough to find restriction so will try to change aerator first even though current one looks clean and failing that see if I can get a new sprayer head.

We had a similar problem with our 2017 Cardinal. Turned out the weight to pull the faucet back into the "neck" wasn't placed at the proper position and was causing a serious kink in the flex hose. The kink was very hard to see at first - so look closely.

I loosened up the screws for the weight - moved it a few inches and that resolved the problem completely.

Same problem on my Crusader. Just a trickle when faucet was "docked", but water stream would increase when pulled out. Weight was causing a "kink" in the hose. Moved the weight a few inches and suddenly it worked. They install those faucets to the counter top before putting the counter top on the island so had to cut an access hole in the back of the cabinet to get at it. May look into replacing faucet as so many others have talked about how much better other faucets are.

Just a couple of things since you mentioned them. Might consider changing out shower head for a Oxygenics. The best bang for the buck I ever spent. Also if your unit does not have a water pressure regulator you might consider putting one in. Don't think I would want to go much more than the 60 psi you already have. Gook luck.

I replaced two faucets on my 2013 Mirada. Apparently, the thin copper pipes kept clogging. I replaced the second faucet with one that had standard home style water lines and did not have a pull-out faucet. So far, so good.
