What are these white packets I found?
I found small white paper packets in the cabinets of the used Freelander we bought, what are they?

Likely Silica Gel to absorb water/moisture.

If not to absorb moisture, then odors.

I'm familiar with silica packets, these are not them, these appear to be empty - they might contain a few flakes of something... They are sealed so nothing has fallen out.
I found them in every cabinet.

I'd assume they are toxic and dispose if them.

I'm a bit uneasy with their existence, I thought if they were poison they would have been marked as such. But I did throw them out, I was also hesitant to open them for closer inspection.
I wanted to ask about these when I cleaned things, but I didn't. But tonight I found another one hiding in a cabinet.

Do they have a slight mint smell? They look a lot like those mice deterrent packs. They have a good smell when new but after about 60 days there is little to no smell

You must not watch "Breaking Bad" on television?
At first glance I thought they were BC powder packs but look too wide for that.

We use "Cab Fresh" packets as rodent deterants when closing up the trailer, they look a little like that.
If you're real concerned, put them in a zip lock baggie and give them back to your dealer to dispose of.

If I find another one, I'll sniff it - to see if it smells like mint - not the other kind of sniffing it.

Put them in a Baggie and give to my dealer? Sounds like trouble to me...

When storing coach for long periods of time some will buy cedar moth balls packets like you have shown and spread them throughout the coach to give it a cedar like smell to defer mice/rats from invading your trailer. Putting them in cabinets and anywhere mice might find there way in the coach is usually a good spot for those packets. Those could also be used to obsorb moisture like some have commented on as well. Hope this helps.
