What does this switch do?

Have had a 2013 Leprechaun on a Ford Chasis for 8 months and no one including a local Ford dealer can tell what the rocker switch above the side mirror controls does? Turn in on and turn it off and can't see anything that works or stops working. Any one know what it is for?

Of course the other posters are correct. You will see it work very well when there is dew, ice or snow on it!

But the mirrors are aftermarket, no? You can't expect them to know aftermarket added parts. Factory installed heated mirrors from Ford are on all the time with the key, no switch.

My factory Ford heated mirrors are not on all the time. Only with the rear defroster switch or MAX defrost when using the remote start.

Do you have a E-series cut-away motorhome?
The point is the switch is not factory. You cannot expect a dealer to know every aftermarket add-on.
