Winterizing 2011 Mirada

Need to winterize Mirada but can't find Hot water tank bipass. What a pain have to winterize everytime you use MH. We need to winterize in a few weeks but want to use MH some in winter so everytime you have to drain and re-winterize??! Any suggestions?

Well if you don't want the lines and drains to freeze then yes you have to winterize.

Wh bypass will be directly behind water heater.

If I was you I'd drain wh then bypass.
Drain low point drains.

Then buy the blow out adapter that hooks to your city water connection then just blow the lines all out.

Buy I gallon of rv antifreeze and pour a cup or so in each drain and then some in your toilet.

Shouldn't take more then 30 minutes TOPS!

I have a 99 leprechaun and I can't find any bypass valves either for the water heater. The manual says look under the sink but I don't see any bypass controls under the sink.

Can you access the back of your water heater?
There may be a false panel.

There is a panel under the oven with screws. I'll have to check tonight to see if valves are behind it.

"Normally" the valves are directly behind water heater.

by now, you probably have located the hw bypass. I have a 2014 Mirada 29DS and was stumped too. found access from the storage baynext to the hw ...a metal panel w/ 6 screws. SOOO proud of myself because nowhere in my documentation/owners manual did i find how to find the "behind" of the hot water heater!!!

I have a 35ds Mirada with an access panel outside in the storage compartment just next to the Water Heater. If you can't find it inside then check outside for a hidden panel with screws holding the panel in place.
