Winterizing a 2007 Freedom Express 2600SO

Does anyone have or know of any instuctional help for winterizing my 2007 Freedom Express 2600SO? The manual is practically useless because it is so generic with the pictures and illustrations. I would like a youtube or better instruction with acurate pictures that show the components that are in my motorhome.

Winterizing an RV is generic. The only way to get model specific details is from someone who has the same unit however, since changes are made within a model year production, there is no guarantee that even that will be exact.

A search of "winterizing" in this forum yields over 500 threads with thousands of posts on the subject. A general you-tube search for "winterizing a class C rv" yields many results as well. Here is a link found with that search
parameter from a reputable dealer in Forest City, IA (W): http://youtu.be/HAgpE6qSVVA

My solution is to move to S Florida. Low of 41* for one night here...

I think winterizing was the hardest part of all the new things we had to learn with an RV.

Many use an oilless air compressor to, first, blow water out of the lines when we add the red antifreeze to all of the lines. The process isn't hard but you will need some things to do it.

You'll need to determine if your water pump has the winterizing valve already installed. (If it doesn't, it's not hard to install one and they should have the kits at almost all RV stores.)

This is good video to watch
