cjearle;
Hang in there! Mine is in the factory now with structure problem, and few items the dealer would not do, At factory They give me a good feeling I will be satisfied. Met several other FR owners and they say all our problems will be addressed. If problems last, the rally in August is good time they will make it good.
more info when I get it back.

Hey Rivnut; Hope all goes well. We sure liked your trailer when we parked next to you at Boonsboro. Did you have a chance to meet Sue at the factory and say "Hi" to her for me?

Hey Rivnut,

That gives hope. Every time we take it out it is something. When we get home it stays at the dealer. So frustrating. Now after a rain storm we woke up to water on the floor I think was blown in thru the outside cents. The front door blew open because we were having problems with it latching. The Blue Ray quits when surround decides to work. They replaced the outside tv now inside has a line in the middle. Having trouble with door staying latched. The inside tv screw mounts are poking thru the wallpaper in bathroom. That is just this trip.

I made those supports out of PVC lol. 11/2" telescopes out of 2" pipe. You can't see it, but the bottoms of the 2" to 4" reducers are anchored into the ground with those cork screw type anchors. I don't like all that free hanging weight putting all the stress on the roof of the unit. Plus, I want to hang lights and maybe a sun screen later on. That would be way to much weight.

I too have had lots of problems but have dealt with them all myself. The truth is for me at least, it saves a lot of time and gas to fix it myself instead of towing it to the dealer. Someone mentioned having a structural problem I would like to hear more about. I haven't heard of anything like that until now. The latest problem I would like to share is we had water leaking out from under the shower and running into the hallway. I removed the outside water flushing panel where many hoses connect together and found several hose fittings leaking. Upon closer examination I noticed PEX fittings were improperly used on braided hose in place of the proper barbed fittings. This makes for loose connections as the PEX fittings are slightly smaller in diameter. It may pay for people to check on this before the warranty is up. In spite of the problems we still really enjoy our Aviator. We spent last week on lake Superior and enjoyed an amazing view out the front windows and despite 30 degree evenings the fire place was all that was needed to keep the camper nice and toasty

Mine is in shop for no water to kitchen sink. Shower door handles fell off third time. Back door won't open. Front hatch won't close without gorilla strength. Can't watch satellite in bedroom. It pulls great with my Tundra. It's a nice rig otherwise.

Thanks Rivnut for letting me know about the table problem. I'll make sure I have it lowered when I travel. I also had a hard time closing the front propane tank cover. The solution for me was to remove one of the lifting struts and add a prop rod. This makes the cover very easy close and the prop rod holds it while open. To watch sat. tv in the bedroom you have to add a video signal splitter under the false floor in the cabinet over the living room tv. I also finished correcting the plumbing issues. I removed all the mismatch braided tubing and replaced it with PEX. I also removed the winterizing glycol system and the water filter that was inside the camper. This eliminated about 20 fittings of which several were already leaking. I also made a brass compressed air fitting that connects to the city water inlet connection. Now I can winterized in a matter of minutes from any compressed air source like at a gas station. Next project is adding lighting to pantry and the closets so I can see inside without a flashlight!
