Have gotten much fixed by dealer and me
I am good for the time being with the unit, other than considering a different hitch.

Most of us had some bugs to work out but very solid trailers after that. Your sway problem may be with you tow vehicle. The Aviator is not that light weight and many SUVs have softer springs and passenger tires. Other people on this forum can give you lots of suggestions about hitches, tires and airbags if needed.

Not my first time towing, i understand where you are coming from.
20" wheels and 55 series tires nice short sidewall for stability, inflated 44psi.
Vehicle has auto ride which includes auto leveling so there is not an issue with being too soft rear. Ride and balance is very good.
I am spoiled as I have had 5th wheels as well, just want less sway than the Blue Ox provides.
Also have plenty of wheelbase as it is an XL, (Suburban) and power is plentiful 6.2L (407hp 417lb) with 6 speed

You never know if it is somebodies first trailer or their 10th. Obviously you know what you doing. Hard to believe the power the new suburbans have. Come a long way since my old one with the 350/3 speed!

That sure is the truth
I wish I could have gotten the 6.2 in a Suburban but only in the Denali
Last rig was Savana Van 5.3 305hp good but nowhere near as powerful as this 6.2

Had a '95 Dodge P/U with a V10 as well, 5th wheel rig that was nice other than being a Dodge and stuff wearing out to often.....lol

After my last three trucks being Chevys, I just bought my first Dodge, a gently used 2012 Ram with a Cummins diesel. So far been great but only time will tell for sure. Where did you find your Electra? Aviators are kind of scarce and seem to be actually going up in value from where the last of the new ones sold for.

We looked at the Aviator Wright-Flyer at Giant in Ormond Beach, but bought from Berryland over in Ponchatoula, LA as they were $15,000 less after negotiating. Berryland took our Passport sight unseen.
You will enjoy your unit more as time goes on and you find out the really neat and different things that make it so different. Expect rubber-neckers to want a guided tour every time you stop. lol

We got our Electra from Giant in Orlando. At the time, there was another Electra there, but was moved to Ormond when we finally picked ours up. Hmmm, lol

As far as towing, my 2500HD Duramax didn't even know it had a trailer back there lol. But have since installed the Reese equalizer setup. Only issue being, the brackets that holds the chains needs to be modified to clear the hood of the Electra.

Now I want the Wright Flyer lol.

I was able to adjust the hood on my Wright Flyer to clear the chain brackets. There isn't much clearance but it does open and close without moving the brackets so you might be able to do the same. It interesting you mentioned wanting a Wright Flyer. We originally went to the dealer to buy an Electra but decided we really could use the extra room especially when we have visitors or our kids with. The Electra gives you a larger bathroom and a cool stargazer's bedroom but is overall better suited for two. I don't think there are any Wright Flyers currently for sale though.

i would be curious to see where it ended up myself. I know you had repainted before you sold it. It is a very sharp looking unit. Was this the one that had the sofa taken out and replaced with recliners? I thought I saw it for sale in Missouri when I was looking at buying. I bought a new one because i thought I would need the warranty. It turns out all my problem were minor and I never did use the warranty.

Aviators are are rare enough but with that paint job it is one is one of a kind!
Forest River had a hard time selling them new probably due to high MSRP but by stopping production so early I think they may have created sort of a collector's item.
We are hoping to find all the owners but still have about 50 unknown.
