15 30ds DVD question

Cannot get the DVDs video to play....

I do get the "cannot display while moving" (something like that). message on the pioneer deck.

Sound plays through the coach speakers from the dvd...

Load the disc- check

Tv in kitchen on AV - check. Tv only has the no signal indicator

Tv does have the AV red yellow white plugged in appropriately

Parking brake on / toggle power switch and no change....

Didn't check to see if the video was being sent to the outside tv.....(if that is even possible)

Thoughts? My dealer is 100 miles away and surely this is my error ....

Has it worked in the past, or is this your first time trying? Did you see if the outside plays?

1st time trying. I didn't check outside and it might have been playing and I didn't know it . When it is working .....do you get the danger when driving on the pioneer deck?

yes that warning should be on. check outside and inside tvs. set both to AV, let us know. make sure there are no spare cables laying in back (yellow, red, white) if so, hook up yellow only to back of tv

set tvs to AV and then also select AV on dash menu - i think this is what sends the signal to TV rather than just playing on dash screen - FR website has the manual for the Pioneer system - I had to look there since the literature we got with the unit wasnt very helpful

Note that FR notoriously connects the yellow video feed on the outside TV to the WRONG input because the DIRECTIONS for that TV are WRONG. And then, FR never tests it! The yellow composite video wire from the player goes into the component input (1 of 3 inputs) right next to the red audio input. I believe it's the Green input and may be marked "Y", "Video", or "Y/Video". I don't have the manual handy.
