2014 DS30 small roof leak

Just noticed small roof leak at shower skylight several small cracks around the edges of skylight leaked into shower ceiling trim and onto shower floor. Corner bead in shower ceiling is cheap fiber stuff. It disintegrated and looked like rusty water on floor. But was fiber particles. Temp fix used clear calk on skylight cracks. FR3 is 2 years old.

Have the same problem with my 30DS. Cracked skylight over shower. The cracks are right by an install screw. They probably over tightened and over time, cracked. I'm having the skylight replaced with one of better quality.

Just noticed cracks in my skylight too. 2014 early 30 DS. Went on the roof and put Dicor on all 11 cracks. Now waiting for some rain. I checked and the cost for a new one is $185.00 CDN.

Johnpisue, did you find a replacement skylight cover? If so, can you post the part number? I need to replace asap and have not been able to find the correct size. Thanks.

Me too, I do know it's an odd shape that is not readily available.

I wish Maxxair would make skylight covers like the vent covers. I don't need the light, don't need the heat draw, and would like some protection from UV and hail.

Wolfgang 22. So far the Dicor sealant and tape are working. I did not change the skylight. Sue checks it twice a year, still looks good.

Thanks. I purchased the Dicor today and will patch it up for now. I have sealed all of the cracks but I think that the original seals are pulling up from the roof and allowing water in. I would like to just pull it all off and re-do it my self so that I know it is done correctly. I will be contacting FR tomorrow to try to get a replacement lens.
