2014 FR3 Roof seals lifting

Hello all,

I'm new here at the forum. I just bought a 2014 Fr3 30DS from my retired boss. I was aware of the known issues like windshield leak, broken skylight around screws, dash rattling before I got it (Yes, it has all).
I went up to the roof, I noticed most of seals were lifting from roof membrane.
I took it to nearby CW for an oil change and had technician take a look.
The tech said FR probably used wrong type of roof sealant and seals weren't adhered properly and all seals need to be replaced.
I was advised to use Alpha sealant for the Alpha roof not Dicor.
I contacted Forest River with pictures and they told me it is owner's responsibility to care roof seals.
I get that part but never heard roof seals lifting away from roof membrane..
Wondering if anybody have/had same issue?

2014 FR3 Roof seals lifting

I have a 2014 DS30. While installing my solar panels I noticed a gap at the same location as your photo. Between the front Fiberglas cap and the roof. I used Dicor to seal the flex mount thin membrane panels down with no issues. I also used Dicor self leveling to fill that gap. That's the only place I noticed a problem.

I've sent on you tube many uses for Eternabond tape. Istanbul a super sealer perm rubberized tape that comes on a four inch roll. If the gap is too big to use Dicor I would use a strip of Eternabond. Note before using either invest in the Dicor cleaning solvent first. And don't apply in cold conditions.

Thanks. Just resealed all the lifted areas with Alpha superflex sealants (Talked to Alpha company). Seals around skylight was loose also causing minor leaks. Removing seals weren't that hard..some of the area were coming off like a painters tape. Also after removing skylight seals revealed bunch of cracks around screws..I patched the cracks temporarily but it will have to be replaced ASAP.
Keep on eye on those seals. Not sure whats causing them to peel off like a post it tape. Never used any kind of chemicals but mild soap and soft brush to clean.

sagging roof on roo 23b, winterize

i have a 2006 roo 23b that has a sagging roof.
it is level and can collect 1/2" of water in center.
can i put a floor jack between the floor and ceiling to re arch?
i would use plywood and carpet to distribute the load top and bottom.
where are the best winterizing instructions for the 23 b?
12 volt dc outlet? has any one added one and where?
