2016 30 DS - water pump won't work

We have used our RV 3 times. Today, just got it back from dealer for front windshield warranty work. Home, prepping for quick trip. Water pump doesn't work. We will be hooked up to city water at destination but still, why??? Any ideas? All of your expertise is greatly appreciated!

Smile pump

Dont run water pump if hook up to city water.
Make sure threes water in fresh water tank.
Check and make sure water pump value for winterizing is in right position not in winter sucktion side.
Also there is a inline fuse at the pump.
and water pump switch inside is in the on position.

Good luck

If your water pump runs, but doesn't pump, you may be air locked. Hook up to city water, pressurize you lines, turn water off, turn on pump and open faucet. Fill your tank completely first, this will help push water to the pump. Check your winterize valve (as mentioned) also.

Things to check:
  1. Fuse
  2. Pump on switch
  3. Winterizing valves
  4. Tank has water
  5. Inline fuse

Water pump can be run when hooked to city water, this is one way to improve low city water pressure.

Good info, we have the same problem and stuck at the campgrounds. No pressure at all inside the coach. Hooked up to city water. Not able to pump water out of the fresh water tank. Where exactly is the water pump and inline fuse? Not in the paperwork that came with the coach. Inside fuse is fine.

Is this the first time you have tried it or have you used it before but it doesn't work now?

On my 30DS the water pump and inline fuse is in the compartment on passenger side above the label that says low point drains. There is a black plastic cover with a white 4" access port cover so you can get to the hot water heater bypass valves. 4 screws hold the black plastic cover on remove them and you now have access to the pump as shown in my picture.

I have a 2015 30DS. Water pump went out today. Bought a new one. Has a 2 year warrenty, so that explains why the old one went out. Right?
