28DS rear slide and towing a trailer

Hi everyone,

I am strongly considering an FR3 28DS.

I will be towing an enclosed trailer as we'll mostly be dry camping at our offroad races.

How long is the rear slideout? I think I read 32".
Will I have to unhook the cargo trailer to deploy it? Or does the typical tongue length of a trailer allow room for the slide (if there is such a thing as typical)?

Thank you!

We don't have a 28DS, but this article says "...a rear-wall 36-inch-deep slideout in the bedroom...". Which is about as deep as you can get I think in a slide. I'd just put the trailer on your truck and measure from your tailgate to the trailer and see where you stand. Would give you a good idea, I'd think. JMO.
