Additional Speakers with Bunk down

Anyone else drive with the bunk down full time will understand that you have to crank the volume up on the radio in order to hear it while driving down the road. I'd like to put some additional speakers somewhere under the bunk so I can hear some music at a decent volume level. Has anyone added any additional speakers in the cockpit? My most recent thought was to add a soundbar type underneath the bunk. Anyways, thought I'd hit up the group to see if anyone has any solutions that they'd like share.
Thanks!

We have ours setup as a bedroom for our kid. Rather than setting it up every night, we just leave it down and head on down the road.

Do you happen to have any pictures? I'm curious about your setup.

speakers

I see you are/were military as was I. I just put my hearing aids in! Otherwise, it sounds like a boom box at stop lights.

this is where I installed the dash speakers. Again the front speakers are not hooked up from the radio from the factory, so it is easy to install the front speakers.

Thanks for the pictures! I never thought once of putting them inboard like that, but it looks good. I'll have to show the wife to see if she approves of drilling holes in the dash now...lol

Even though she cries when she sees me heading towards the Rv with a drill my dear wife didn't mind the speaker fit.
