Alarm System

I have a new FR3 and would like to protect it with a alarm sys and ignition disable device. Does anyone have any suggestions on what works well. I want the out side storage compartments to be secured as well.

I'm located in southern California

Thanks
Fred

A wired(cheapest) or wireless home alarm would be easiest... Wire sensors by going across each storage bin.. Siren under coach..or in one of the bins... If you want it monitored you would need a cellular dialer and keep monitoring station aware of where it is being stored.... You'll only need to come up through floor for door switch or motion sensor and control panel... It would use your house batteries when disconnected from AC....

As for a ignition kill switch.. Not sure you would need one... But there simple enough to install ... I'm sure there are u tube videos somewhere on the net... Should be more than the cost of hidden toggle switch and some wire to reach the coaches forward fuse panel..

Add a fuel pump kill switch or pull the fuse for the pump.

I replaced all the storage locks with tubular cam locks, keyed alike. The ones FR, or most mfg.s for that matter use, everyone has keys for them.
Also, I installed a battery disconnect for the chassis battery so no one can drive it away. You just need to find a good place to hide it like I did.

I think they are 1 1/2", but honestly can't remember (lol). I do remember just pulling one off and measuring the shaft.
